APPLY HEAT

The idea behind heat actually is very sound. We are told never to just heat a body part immediately after injury because, you guessed it – swelling. Heat creates better blood flow but when there is swelling, it also can cause more fluid to build up in that body part. But remember from my first failed elbow treatment – ice – that the concept of creating more blood flow is the right idea?
So heat had a positive impact for me as well. And I suppose it can continue to be a regular form of treatment but for something stubborn like tennis elbow and golfer’s elbow, heat is no match.
